    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing general accounting functions, supporting month-end and year-end closings, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

    + Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

    + Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other analyses.

    + Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.

    + Assist with audits and provide required documentation.

    + Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + Proven experience in general accounting or a similar role.

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
