Rivers Agile is a deep tech consulting firm specializing in custom solutions across various industries. Founded in 2008 as a quality assurance consultancy, we have expanded our expertise to include autonomous solutions, Agentive AI, XR research, and NVIDIA Omniverse. After spending the past two years maturing our capabilities and developing in-house products, we are now investing in business development professionals to sell them.
Our collaborative team of software engineers, QA engineers, and project managers partners closely with clients to tackle complex challenges. We seek engineers and other professionals who are lifelong learners, passionate about their craft, and defined by their unique personality, experience, and style.
Position
+ Manage the sales funnel from prospecting through close, focused on mid-market to enterprise clients
+ Conduct in-person demos of VR/AR and AI products built in-house, specifically targeting industries with field operations (construction, oil and gas, utilities, transportation, public works, etc.)
+ Build trusted relationships at new and existing accounts and discover opportunities that creatively align our capabilities to their needs
+ Persuade leaders in legacy industries to adopt new technology to drive change, innovation, and efficiencies
+ Balance time between closing new accounts and finding new opportunities at existing accounts
+ Contribute to competitive proposals, presentations, and sales collateral
+ Attend conferences and networking events; occasional travel may be required
+ Assist the management team with refining and enhancing our products and service offerings to differentiate us and gain attraction in the market
Desired qualifications
+ Demonstrated success in sales, contributing to significant growth of a software product or consulting company
+ Ability to execute technical demos flawlessly, which requires general tech savvy and experience with IoT-type consumer products
+ Must possess an enviable network of prospects with buying authority in the region or nationally
+ Conversant in technology strategy and trends for business, connected hardware products, and software development services
+ Knowledge and passion for new technologies, including AI, VR/AR, robotics, advanced graphics, and cloud computing
+ Deep knowledge and understanding of the Greater Pittsburgh Region’s businesses, corporations, and industries
+ 5+ years experience in business development, account management, and/or sales roles
+ Experience with CRM processes and tools, including SalesForce
+ Expert listener, problem solver, and negotiator
+ Ability to learn new industries rapidly and synthesize complex domain and technical information
+ Strong presentation skills paired with clear and confident communication
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
