Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in tax compliance and non-resident alien tax matters. The role requires a thorough understanding of international tax regulations and the ability to handle complex tax filings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file 1042S tax forms with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ensure compliance with 1042 regulations and applicable tax laws.

• Conduct detailed tax assessments to identify and address potential issues.

• Manage tax-related tasks for non-resident aliens affiliated with universities or government entities.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline tax preparation processes.

• Provide guidance on individual tax return filings and address IRS-related inquiries.

• Stay updated on international tax compliance requirements and regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely tax filings.

• Analyze tax documents and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Offer expert advice and solutions for complex tax scenarios. Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual tax returns.

• Strong knowledge of 1042S tax filing and compliance.

• Expertise in handling non-resident alien tax matters.

• Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software.

• Comprehensive understanding of IRS regulations and international tax compliance.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
