Description
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team in Willow Springs, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in guiding prospective residents through the leasing process while maintaining strong relationships with current tenants. Weekend availability is required as part of the schedule. Hours are 3 days per weekdays from 9AM-6PM, Saturdays from 10AM-5PM and Sundays from 12-5PM. Please know weekends are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
• Showcase apartment units to prospective residents, emphasizing the features and benefits of the community.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, schedule property tours, and utilize effective sales strategies to secure leases.
• Support new residents with move-ins and assist current tenants with lease renewals and maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of residents and leasing activities using RealPage OneSite.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready by coordinating with property management and monitoring property appearance.
• Answer inbound calls and provide detailed information about leasing options and community amenities.
• Assist with scanning and organizing important documents related to leasing agreements and renewals.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve leasing goals and contribute to the overall success of the property.
• Engage in cold calling when necessary to attract potential residents and expand leasing opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
Requirements • Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Strong communication skills and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience with lease agreements, renewals, and customer retention strategies.
• Comfortable with cold calling and consultative sales techniques.
