    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    The incumbent performs chemical, microscopic, and/or bacteriologic tests and verifies results for use in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Coordinates the technical operations of the laboratory sections for which responsible. Demonstrates competency in patient testing for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure.

    Job Requirements

    Required

    + Bachelors degree with a major in biological science

    + 2 years of experince as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a clinical laboratory

    + 1 year internship in a hospital clinical laboratory

    + Clinical Lab Scientist CLS Licensure

    Pay Range

    $79.69 - $82.09 /hour
