Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk $23/hr 1st shift!

Job Description

Join our dynamic warehouse operations team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role is pivotal in supporting our production and distribution processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for pulling and packing orders, managing inventory, receiving materials, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments.

Responsibilities

+ Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders and specifications.

+ Utilize hand-scanner and WMS to facilitate all pick, pack, and inventory actions.

+ Inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy before packing.

+ Prepare items for shipment, including proper packaging, labeling, and ensuring product safety during transit.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.

+ Prepare orders for loading onto trucks for delivery, following safety regulations.

+ Comply with all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.

+ Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment targets.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience with supply chain, production floor, and working with quality control systems, preferably in a GMP/ISO/HACCP environment.

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

+ Fast learner and self-motivated.

+ Ability to type and work on a computer.

+ Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.

+ Self-motivated and adaptable in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ General labor and warehouse shipping experience.

+ Computer literacy.

+ Forklift operation skills.

+ Warehouse inventory management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
