    Job Title:** **2nd Shift Forklift Operator

    **Pay:** $20/hr

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will handle receiving, inspecting, and organizing shipments of raw materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality. You will also maintain inventory, prepare orders, and contribute to a clean and safe warehouse environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Receive incoming shipments, inspect for quality and quantity, and verify against paperwork.

    + Store and organize materials according to procedures and safety regulations.

    + Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other powered equipment (training provided if needed).

    + Prepare orders for delivery or pickup by accurately picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products.

    + Maintain inventory accuracy through physical counts and inventory systems, including handheld scanners.

    + Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

    + Report damaged or missing goods promptly.

    + Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.

    + Assist in training new warehouse employees as needed.

    Essential Skills:

    + Forklift operation (minimum 6 months experience).

    + Inventory management.

    + Picking and packing.

    + General labor and material handling.

    + Shipping and receiving.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + High attention to detail.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with management and peers.

    + Basic math skills for verifying weights and measurements.

    + Ability to follow correct procedures and detect errors in bag weights and seals.

    Work Environment:

    + Manufacturing setting with occasional high dust levels and elevated temperatures (no air conditioning).

    + PPE required.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.

    + Standing for approximately 75% of the shift with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.

    + Work around moving equipment—visual acuity and safety awareness are essential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lester Prairie, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
