Job Description

Responsibilities
+ Travel to customer facilities to provide installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair support for a variety of equipment.
+ Deliver comprehensive in-person and remote training to customers.
+ Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research and resolve machine issues.
+ Ensure proper documentation of machine issues, repairs, and installations, providing detailed feedback to management, distributors, and customers.
+ Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry to effectively support your role.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, and programming within the machine tool industry.
+ Technical degree preferred, but validated industry experience is acceptable.
+ Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with FANUC, Heidenhein, Linear Lasers, and Laser Tracker.
+ Experience with large CNC 5-axis gantries and FANUC Robots.

+ Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
+ Willingness to travel consistently.

Work Environment
Work primarily on-site at a highly advanced aviation company in Olathe, KS, with opportunities for travel across the United States and international training. The role involves a mix of on-site and on-road duties, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, and occasional overtime on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
