    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for both preventative and emergency maintenance on equipment used for processing corn into corn syrup and cornmeal. You will have the opportunity to work four-day work weeks with shifts available from either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine greasing on equipment.

    + Conduct frequent pump and conveyor repair and maintenance, including changing seals, valves, and piping.

    + Manage motor alignments and bearing maintenance.

    + Change fluids and swap gearboxes.

    + Participate in an on-call rotation during weekends, with compensation for a minimum of four hours if called in.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in maintenance technician tasks.

    + Experience with pump repair and hose replacement.

    + Knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance.

    + Understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems.

    + Experience in industrial maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in a food or agricultural facility is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in an industrial processing building, which is typically loud and can be hot. You will work in various areas of the building, including some outdoor environments. While major projects involve collaboration with another person, most preventative maintenance tasks are performed independently.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bovina, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
