    Job Title: Operations Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role within the site team, working closely with the Operations Leader to foster the development of Team Leads who directly interact with production personnel. As an advocate for customer needs, you will guide initiatives related to new product introductions, engineering changes, returns, corrective actions, system adjustments, and quality issues. The position reports to the Engineering and Operations Leader.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee production planning, work-in-progress job control, and shipment tracking.

    + Regularly monitor work order status to ensure job completion.

    + Collaborate with Program Managers and Site Leader to maximize Team Leaders' and team members' effectiveness.

    + Manage cost control, capacity planning, expenditure, and production team member allocation.

    + Assess operation effectiveness for each customer and enhance labor efficiency through strategic planning and execution.

    + Conduct data collection, validation, and cost/margin analyses with follow-up processes for specific customer focus teams.

    + Lead Team Leaders' performance, including training, regular coaching sessions, conflict management, attendance monitoring, wage reviews, and career development.

    + Work with the Operations Leader to communicate and motivate the team in finding efficient methods to address customer demand changes and expectations.

    Essential Skills

    + Operation management and supervision skills.

    + A degree or equivalent experience in operations, management, or engineering.

    + Minimum 3 years of electronic assembly or equivalent manufacturing experience.

    + At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of 4 or more.

    + Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as 5S.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Proficiency in using ERP or MRP systems, with Oracle preferred.

    + Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Word.

    + Ability to read and understand electronic/electrical schematics and prints.

    + Leadership, interpersonal, team building, and coaching skills.

    + Strong learning mindset.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory controls is preferred.

    + Experience with circuit card manufacturing is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves extended periods of standing or walking in a production environment. The incumbent must safely maneuver around archived materials weighing up to 25 lbs and handle electronic parts and tools. The environment is generally clean but may expose you to dust. Safety clothing and gear are required in safety-sensitive areas. The position demands emotional resilience to handle high-pressure situations professionally in a fast-paced industry.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in Albuquerque,NM.
