Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking to add quality team members to our expanded warehouse department, specifically for our day shift. As part of our team, you will play an essential role in our production, loading, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the production process, including cutting and tempering glass.

+ Operate machines and assist with the use of prints and schematics.

+ Load glass into machines and read order tickets for precise cutting measurements.

+ Operate forklifts and learn overhead crane operations for efficient shipping and receiving.

+ Unload glass from semis and store it in large vertical contraptions.

+ Prepare glass for the IG line using an overhead crane.

+ Load finished glass products into semis for shipping.

+ Manually move windows between vertical and horizontal positions and place them on caster tables and shipping racks.

+ Handle units up to 75 lbs, with two-person lifts for heavier units.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing or production experience.

+ Mechanical inclination, such as working on cars or disassembling items.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to consistently lift glass.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

+ Willingness to learn crane operations.

+ General labor experience for handling glass panels.

+ Experience in production is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
