    Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

    Job Description

    This role involves electrical maintenance with a primary focus on troubleshooting high-level electrical issues. The position requires working with complex equipment, primarily dealing with 3-phase 480v systems. Additionally, you will perform mechanical troubleshooting involving hydraulic and pneumatic components and carry out preventive maintenance on machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and resolve high-level electrical issues.

    + Handle 3-phase 480v systems and other complex electrical tasks.

    + Perform mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulic and pneumatic components.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance on various machines.

    + Work with multi-faceted machines such as rollers, ovens, and sprayers.

    + Troubleshoot equipment thoroughly to ensure proper repair, not just temporary fixes.

    + Build and set up new control panels with PLCs.

    + Write basic programs (2-3 steps) for equipment control.

    + Familiarize with and troubleshoot AC/DC drives and VFDs.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 years of PLC troubleshooting experience.

    + Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read prints and schematics.

    + Experience in electrical maintenance and repair in an industrial setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience working with ovens.

    + Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled and not the cleanest. Working hours are from 3 PM to 11 PM. Weekend work is only expected during scheduled machine downtimes, and there are no Sunday shifts as there haven't been any in over 15 years.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
