Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician in the automotive or stamping industry, you will oversee maintenance operations, ensure machinery reliability, and perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs to keep production equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stamping presses, conveyors, robotics, and manufacturing machinery.

+ Conduct routine preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all systems and equipment.

+ Perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks as assigned.

+ Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and prudent safety standards.

+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stamping presses and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

+ Familiarity with robotic troubleshooting and editing (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar), troubleshooting sensors, actuators, and PLC integration (specifically Siemens).

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.

+ Assist with die changes, press adjustments, and tooling alignment.

+ Support press operators during setup, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical maintenance, Siemens PLC, PLC troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.

+ Experience with hydraulic systems, press maintenance, and industrial maintenance.

+ Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC, Fanuc robotics, and control systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in industrial maintenance or electrical maintenance.

+ PLC knowledge and troubleshooting preferred but not required.

+ Experience in heavy machinery maintenance, automotive, steel, or heavy industrial maintenance.

+ Capable of working closely with teams, including operators, technicians, and engineers.

Work Environment

Work in a new and clean manufacturing facility in the stamping department. The position involves working closely with the engineering team to test dies, run product trials, and modify dies as needed. Safety gear, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and high-visibility vests, is required. Jeans or work pants without holes, rips, shorts, or leggings are acceptable, and shirts can be plain T-shirts or polos.

This is a Contract position based out of Stanton, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
