Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Swiss Machinist for the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, changing out, adjusting, and operating CNC Swiss machines. You will perform quality checks using precision measurement tools and maintain tight tolerances up to +/- .0005. You may also need to edit G&M codes as necessary and could be responsible for running up to 4 machines at a time due to extended run times.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, change out, adjust, and operate CNC Swiss machines.
+ Perform quality checks utilizing precision measurement tools.
+ Maintain tolerances up to +/- .0005.
+ Edit G&M codes as necessary.
+ Run up to 4 machines concurrently during extended run times.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC Swiss Lathe machinery.
+ 5+ years of machining experience working with tight tolerances +/- .0005.
+ Proficiency in editing G&M codes.
+ Ability to set up, change tooling, and make adjustments to CNC Swiss Lathe.
+ Competency in reading in-depth blueprints and symbols, and familiarity with AutoCAD and CNC programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Programming experience.
+ Job shop background.
+ Experience with CAD/CAM programming software.
+ Ability to program new parts from a print.

Work Environment
Work in a large machine shop equipped with a wide range of custom-engineered equipment. The environment is dynamic and may be dirty, with over 50 CNC machines throughout the shop. There are two plants, with the second plant housing 3 machines and located just 40 feet from the first.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhart, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
