    Job Title: Processing Operator

    Job Description

    As a Processing Operator, you will be responsible for the inspection, handling, and packaging of fresh or processed products. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products as they move through various stages of the production line.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect fresh or processed products on conveyor systems or roller tracks.

    + Place products onto processing and packaging conveyor systems.

    + Lift and move trays off and onto carts.

    + Load products onto trays.

    + Assist in moving racks and carts of products.

    + Pack packaged products into cardboard boxes.

    + Label and seal product cases and cartons.

    + Clean and set up processing and packaging operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with production and general processing machinery.

    + Ability to set up and tear down processing machinery.

    + Proficient in cleaning and sanitizing product processing rooms.

    + Maintain process and product quality standards.

    + Strong communication skills to liaise with team members, other shifts, supervisors, and maintenance personnel as needed.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes frequent exposure to extreme temperatures and loud noise levels. You will be exposed to various food allergens. The role requires regular standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, carrying, lifting, and twisting. You must be able to regularly lift 15 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
