    Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

    Job Description

    Join our team to set up and operate CNC Milling machines. You will be expected to operate and set up multiple machines with multiple set-ups each day, working with extremely tight tolerances and demonstrating a proven history of low scrap rates.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC Milling machines.

    + Operate and set up multiple machines with multiple set-ups each day.

    + Work with extremely tight tolerances.

    + Ensure low scrap rates.

    + Use measuring tools and calipers for precision.

    + Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed to maintain print specifications.

    + Deburr parts when necessary.

    + Run more than one machine while maintaining run times and quality.

    + Use micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and visual checks for part inspection.

    + Determine when cutters need replacement or resharpening.

    + Assist in determining tooling and fixturing needs.

    + Interpret blueprints and create inspection sheets.

    + Update inventory for tools and fixturing.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 years CNC machining experience.

    + 2+ years Milling set up experience.

    + 5+ years blueprint reading experience.

    + 2+ years experience in a job shop environment.

    + Machine programming skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and operate machinery in secondary departments including mills, honing, and lapping machines.

    + Ability to assemble parts as needed.

    + Experience with measuring tools, calipers, and axis.

    + Experience in inspection sheet creation.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
