    About the Role:

    As the Sales Training Lead, you will manage a team dedicated to enhancing the sales capabilities of our organization. Your responsibilities include designing comprehensive training programs, overseeing the execution of these programs, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with senior sales managers to ensure that the training initiatives drive measurable improvements in sales performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the development and delivery of all sales training programs.

    • Manage a team of trainers, providing leadership and support.

    • Collaborate with sales management to align training programs with strategic objectives.

    • Evaluate and update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

    • Develop long-term training plans and schedules.

    • Track and report on the performance and outcomes of training initiatives.

    • Conduct advanced training needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.

    • Drive continuous improvements in training methodologies and materials.

    • Facilitate high-level training sessions for senior sales representatives.

    • Establish partnerships with external training vendors as needed.

    Skills:

    • Leadership: Ability to lead a team of training professionals.

    • Strategic Planning: Skills in long-term training program development and alignment.

    • Performance Tracking: Ability to track and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.

    • Training Design: Proficient in developing advanced, interactive training materials.

    • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.

    • Advanced Communication: Excellent skills for delivering high-level training.

    • Project Management: Capable of managing multiple training programs and schedules.

    • Vendor Management: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with external training providers.

    Key Requirements

    Education:

    + A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    Experience:

    + 7+ plus years sales enablement experience or equivalent

    + 3 + years managing a sales enablement or sales training team

    Knowledge, Skill, Abilities

    + Successful track-record of building cross functional relationships to inform, shape and execute programs

    + Ability to influence and drive measurable programs that result in improved sales performance

    + Expertise in sales training methodologies and experience training both direct sellers and sales leaders

    + Creative problem solver who enjoys an environment that continuously challenges you

    + Strong communication and presentation skills

    + Excellent project management and organizational skills

    + Experience with sales enablement tools and LMS platforms (e.g.Salesforce, Seismic, Highspot, Outreah .)

    + A proven track record in meeting/exceeding performance objectives.

    **Travel:** Occasional travel required up to 20%

    Compensation:

    Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $121,350 - $170,050
