    About this Role

     

    The Sr Financial Analyst at IFS Infrasource will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Dept with a variety of financial activities including weekly/monthly reporting, forecasting, building financial models, supporting month end close process, as well as ad hoc reporting as needed. A strong background in Excel is required and strong interpersonal skills will be needed as this role will interact with all levels within the organization. This is an in-office position (King of Prussia, PA). Some travel required (<10%).

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Reports to Senior Manager, FP&A

    + Assist the FP&A Managers prepare and distribute weekly/monthly financial reports that summarize and forecast the Division's business activity and financial results

    + Prepare and evaluate analysis based on contract performance and Divisional operating results

    + Act as back up to the FP&A Managers when needed

    + In coordination with the FP&A team, this position is responsible for adherence to the company’s accounting principles, procedures, practices, reporting and compliance requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP

    + Assist the FP&A Managers with the month-end close process by preparing any needed reporting or reconciliations

    + Help ensure proper revenue recognition for the Division

    + Review operating expenses and provide recommendations to management on ideas for cost reductions

    + Support the preparation and evaluation of budgets, forecasts and other financial operating reports

    + Performing research and analysis as required

    + Other duties as assigned

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

    + 2-3 years+ of corporate finance experience

    + Construction industry experience a plus

    + Experience with Spectrum or other enterprise accounting software a plus

    + Must have the ability to research and analyze various financial data and have a solid understanding of accounting principles

    + Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literate

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel – ability to work with pivot tables, formulas such as V-lookups

    + Organized, detail oriented with reconciliation skills

    + Must have the ability to work independently and prioritize duties as well as on team projects
