About the role
As an **Ironclad Lead Architect (Principal Functional Architect)** , you will design and implement advanced contract management solutions using Ironclad and related lifecycle management platforms. With 14 to 18 years of experience, you’ll bring expertise in Contract Authoring–Sale Buy, Contract Obligation Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management Software.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead the design and implementation of contract management solutions.
+ Integrate Ironclad and Contract Authoring–Sale Buy systems with existing platforms.
+ Provide guidance on Contract Obligation Management to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align lifecycle strategies with business goals.
+ Analyze and improve contract processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Support finance and accounting teams with contract-related insights and reporting.
+ Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive adoption of new tools and practices.

What you need to have to be considered:
+ 14 to 18 years of experience in contract management and architecture.
+ Experience in implementations (end-to-end).
+ 4–5 years of Ironclad implementation experience.
+ Strong background in Contract Obligation Management.
+ Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management Software.
+ Domain expertise in Hi-Tech with knowledge of Finance and Accounting.
These will help you stand out:
+ Certified Contract Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent.
+ Ability to mentor peers and lead workshops.
+ Familiarity with emerging trends in contract lifecycle management.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until 12/20/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
