• Business Analyst - ADM

    CTG (Jersey City, NJ)


    CTG is seeking to fill a Business Analyst - ADM position for our client in Jersey City, NJ.

     

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Duties:

    + Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Boradridge Fixed Income Trade Settlement Product – IMPACT.

    + Analyze and document Subledger and Main Ledger processes for Fixed Income trades.

    + Review and track trade lifecycle events postings to subledger accounts in settlement systems.

    + Configure and validate Subledger and Main Ledger accounts, ensuring accurate event posting.

    + Reconcile balances at book, account, and granular levels; monitor and resolve balance breaks.

    + Configure Accounting Entry Rules (AET) in the subledger accounting system.

    + Perform manual journal postings using AET to resolve discrepancies and identify posting sides.

    + Manage reverse entries for settlement failures.

    + Calculate P&L and post entries for back-dated trades.

    + Collaborate with trade settlement teams to ensure proper accounting and event processing.

    Skills (Required):

    + Boradridge – Fixed Income Trade Settlement Product – IMPACT SME

    + Subledger and Main Ledger process knowledge for Fixed Income trades

    + Trade lifecycle events postings to subledger accounts in settlement systems

    + Subledger and Main Ledger Accounts configuration and event posting

    + Knowledge of back-office accounts (Balance sheet, P&L) in investment banking

    + Reconciliation of balances at book and account levels

    Nice to Have Skills:

    + Experience with Boradridge – Fixed Income Trade Settlement Product – IMPACT

    Experience:

    + Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ADM or financial services environment, preferably with Fixed Income trade settlement and accounting systems.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
