CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.
**Duration:** 12 months
Overview:
+ Lead and support the design, development, and enhancement of applications.
+ Serve as a key technical contributor and application designer for complex solutions.
+ Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support day-to-day application activities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Perform full-stack development, systems analysis, and solution design for complex initiatives.
+ Drive development tasks, mentor less experienced developers, and ensure code quality.
+ Create and maintain technical specifications, documentation, and project plans.
+ Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
+ Analyze interdependencies across applications and recommend innovative technical solutions.
+ Ensure adherence to development standards, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Support strategic initiatives, technology evaluations, and process improvements.
+ Partner with business and technology teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Scope of Responsibilities:
+ Operates independently on high-level technical tasks.
+ May lead project activities and guide development teams.
+ Collaborates with senior leadership, technology teams, clients, and vendors.
+ May serve as a technical representative on committees or special projects.
Education and Experience Required:
Technical Skills:
+ .NET (C#), SQL Server, GIT, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Angular
+ OOP, RESTful APIs, Performance Tuning
+ Entity Framework Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Qualifications:
+ Associate degree + 5 years development experience **OR** 7 years combined education/work experience including 5 years development experience.
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple complex projects and collaborate across teams.
+ Experience supporting both technical and business stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to recommend, implement, and deliver systems solutions.
Education and Experience Preferred:
+ Strong understanding of the Bank’s application framework.
+ SME-level knowledge of relevant business areas.
+ Advanced understanding of integrated applications and systems.
+ Ability to multitask, work independently or collaboratively, and contribute beyond BAU work.
+ Proactive, action-oriented mindset.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
