**Job Title:** Quality Technician II
**Location:** Durham, NC
**Pay Rate:** Up to $25.05 per hour (Depending on Experience)
**Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm
**Education:** Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Overview:
We’re looking for a Quality Technician II to support lab testing and quality activities at our client’s Durham, NC site. This is an onsite contract role, Monday through Friday from 8 to 5.
What you’ll do:
+ Run environmental monitoring on water, air, and surfaces.
+ Perform routine quality control tests such as TOC, Gram staining, bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, and cell-based assays.
+ Handle sample management and keep laboratory inventory organized.
+ Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
+ Support assay validation, equipment qualification, and updates to SOPs.
+ Pitch in on investigations, corrective actions, and improvement efforts.
+ Keep the lab tidy and help train new team members when needed.
What you bring:
+ Previous lab experience in quality control or a related environment.
+ Familiarity with microbiological, chemical, and biochemical testing.
+ Solid attention to detail, good organization, and a collaborative mindset.
