    Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher | Aurora, CO | Full-Time | 25–26 School Year | $48/hr Local or $2,100/week Travel

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to provide quality services to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 3. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the ECSE Teacher will support students across three classrooms, plan and implement individualized programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a Para, BCBA, SLP, OT, and PT.

    Contract Details

    + Location: Near Aurora, CO (Meadowood CDC school site)

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

    + Hours per Week: 37.5 student contact hours

    + Pay Rate: $48/hour local OR $2,100/week travel (with benefits)

    Role Details

    + Provide instruction and case management for students pre-K through grade 3

    + Support students across three classrooms

    + Supervise and schedule one Para assigned to ECSE

    + Collaborate with BCBA, SLP, OT, and PT on the support team

    + Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff

    + Maintain compliance with professional standards and state requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    + Eligible to work in Colorado as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

    + Licensed ECSE Teacher with the Colorado Department of Education (pending licenses accepted)

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or related field (preferred)

    + Current CPR certification, if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
