Notes: Must have ER Experience
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
Requirements:
+ 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
+ License, Certification, Registration
+ Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
+ Basic Life Support
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support
+ Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
+ Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
