Client is seeking a **Network Engineer** to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems, ensuring robust and secure communication networks in the Client's program.

Work is performed on site in Pascagoula, MS. - willing to TRAVEL candidate to Mississippi to complete 8 month project. Will receive per diem and be able to fly back to their home at least once a month.

Duties:

+ Design and implement network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems

+ Ensure secure and reliable shipboard communication networks design

+ Conduct network performance analysis and optimization

+ Support the development and review of network-related documentation and design reviews

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor in Science in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related field

+ Five (5) Extensive knowledge of shipboard C5ISR systems and C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR shipboard systems and architecture

+ Extensive experience in network engineering for shipboard C5ISR systems

+ Demonstrates familiarity and understanding of all subject areas in Certification and Accreditation (C&A)

+ Proficiency in network architecture design and implementation

+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices

+ Ability to conduct network performance analysis and optimization

+ Knowledge of and experience with evaluating networking functional requirements

+ Excellent communication and coordination skills

+ Vendor operating system certification such as Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, or Linux

+ Experience supporting projects in a Shipyard environment

Required Clearance:

+ Active Secret Clearance- ability to obtain TS/SCI

Required Certification:

Cybersecurity Workforce Level II cert i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP

Position Details:
