    Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

     

    Full-time Supervisor Role w/Benefits | $20.00 per hour | Monday – Friday | Weekends Off

    Shift Details

     

    + Shuttle Team Operating Hours

    + 24 hours per day 5 days per week

    + Starting Monday at 4:00am through Friday night at 12:00am

    + Supervisor will work a minimum of five 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday

    + This person will need to work a mix of morning and evening shifts to support and coach the team.

    + As the Supervisor, the person must be able to work outside these times depending on business needs.

     

    Leadership Scope

     

    + Oversee the shuttle team, supporting frontline staff and reporting to the Site Manager

    + Monitor and support in shuttle operations to ensure safe, reliable, and customer-focused service

    + Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues, delays, or minor complaints

    + Assist employees with timecard questions, attendance matters, and basic HR documentation needs

    + Report escalated issues to the Site Manager for resolution

    + Step in to drive shuttles when necessary to support operations

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Over the age of 21 years old

    + A High School Diploma or equivalent is required

    + Eligible to work for any U.S. employer

    + Must be well-versed in HR best practices for training, performance management, managing timecards, etc

    + Must be Tech-Savv, and able to navigate Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and HR Systems such as Paycom

    + 2–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in transportation, logistics, hospitality, or healthcare operations

    + 1 year of experience with driving shuttle buses or large delivery vehicles

    Qualifications

    Summary and Qualifications

     

    As our Site Supervisor, you will support the Site Manager in ensuring seamless shuttle services across the Ochsner Medical Center campus. The Site Supervisor will play a key role in basic HR-related functions such as coaching, attendance support, timecard reviews, and team development. This is a player-coach role—meaning you will lead the team while also being able to step in and drive when needed to support operations.You will directly oversee the team of drivers, helping maintain safe, reliable, and customer-focused operations.

     

    You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and hospital administration to ensure every interaction reflects Onsight Healthcare’s “people come first” philosophy. With expanded involvement in employee coaching, attendance follow-up, timecard accuracy, and team relations, you will help support a positive and accountable team culture. From safety and scheduling to team support and client relations, you’ll help shape the hospital employee experience and operational success of the site!

    + 1–2 years of leadership experience supervising teams in transportation, logistics, or healthcare

    + 1 year of experience with driving shuttle buses or large delivery vehicles

    + Must be well-versed in HR best practices for training, performance management, managing timecards, etc

    + Must be Tech-Savv, and able to navigate Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and HR Systems such as Paycom

    + Have possessed a clean driving record for the past 5 years

    + Ability to pass all onboarding screening processes

    + Work a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings as needed

    + Adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet and learn new software used for daily tasks

    + Ability to build positive relationships with hospital staff and your team

    + Communicate clearly and effectively, motivating a diverse team

    + Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    + Ability to work in a standing or sitting position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment

    + This role may require continuous sitting/driving throughout the entire shift and engagement in an outdoor environment that at times may include exposure to harsh elements

    + Physical involvement may include walking, standing, pushing, and pulling of various luggage/belongings, lifting up to 50 lbs, all while delivering outstanding customer service

    + Supervise the shuttle team, supporting frontline staff and ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused operations

    + Assist in monitoring shuttle operations across the hospital campus to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable service

    + Support hiring, retention, and development of team members under the guidance of the Site Manager

    + Lead daily coaching and support of the team to drive engagement and accountability

    + Support site-level leaders in developing team performance

    + Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure coverage and operational excellence

    + Maintain professional relationships with hospital staff and administration

    + Track basic operational KPIs, including safety compliance and customer satisfaction

    + Partner with Site Manager to ensure shuttle readiness, preventive maintenance, and operational safety

    + Report and document incidents, accidents, or claims to the Site Manager

    + Conduct occasional safety audits and ride-alongs to ensure compliance with protocols

    + Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues, delays, or minor complaints, escalating as needed

    + Collaborate with hospital administration, facilities, and security teams on daily operations

    + Maintain accurate records for incidents, vehicle maintenance, and staff training

    + Provide basic HR-related support such as documenting coaching conversations, monitoring attendance, and reviewing timecards

    + Approve minor shift swaps or temporary assignments under Site Manager guidance

    + Monitor shuttle vehicles for cleanliness and readiness, including inventory of keys, fuel, and safety equipment

    + Coach team members on interactions and service standards

    + Remain visible on-site to maintain team accountability and operational flow

    + Step in to drive when necessary to support service levels

    Compensation

     

    + $20.00 per hour
