We are searching for the best talent for a **Specialist 2, R&D** to be in **Irvine, CA.**
Responsibilities
+ Locate sources for engineering materials and services, obtain quotes and place orders for material and services.
+ Lead/ supports the execution of work orders.
+ Manage the supply chain for new product development materials.
+ Manage inventory of new product development materials.
+ Maintain design control for new product development build activities.
+ Documents and updates the project budgets.
+ Support efforts to drive cost reduction and supply chain optimization in new product development.
+ Supports project team/ technical projects and initiatives that focus on cost improvement, business continuity, process excellence to enable product development activities.
+ Support communication activities regarding R&D initiatives.
+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
+ A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably related to the position
+ A minimum of a University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
+ In depth understanding of product structure (Bills of Material, routings, etc.)
+ In depth understanding of new product development cost drivers
+ Ability to participate in a technical team
+ Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Ability to utilize office computer programs proficiently
+ Must be detail oriented and highly organized

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $121,000 annually.
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
• The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
