Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong DevOps expertise and a networking background to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining applications with a focus on ReactJS for UI and SpringBoot for backend, while also managing CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GitOps practices, Kubernetes, and network automation tools, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain UI components (80% ReactJS) and backend services (20% SpringBoot).

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Deploy applications on Kubernetes and integrate with external systems.

• Collaborate with the Nessie team on networking configuration tools and automation.

• Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers through paired programming.

• Drive best practices in React design and GitOps principles.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Technically versatile with a mix of development and DevOps experience.

• Comfortable working across UI, backend, and infrastructure tasks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly ramp up on new codebases.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills for team collaboration.

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS (UI development) and Java/SpringBoot backend.

• Expertise in Git (versioning, branching strategies, planning).

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments (Kubernetes).

• Solid programming skills in Python and/or PowerShell.

• Understanding of basic networking concepts and experience with automation tools like Ansible. • Experience with network configuration tools and GitOps workflows.

• Familiarity with component library redesign and React design principles.

• Exposure to containerization methods and app deployment on container platforms.

• Leadership experience: mentoring developers, reviewing code, and guiding architectural decisions.
