The **Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department** is looking for an outstanding **Distribution Pharmacist - Ambulatory Pharmacy Services** (Pharmacist 2) to join our Outpatient Pharmacy Team!
WORK SCHEDULE
+ Part-Time / 20 hours per week
+ Rotating/Variable Shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
+ Perform clinical and distributive pharmacy duties in any one of the six outpatient pharmacies
+ Provide drug information and education to patients, physicians/ clinicians, and nurses
+ Instruct students, residents, interns, and technicians
+ Provide pharmaceutical care to patients
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide oversight for the preparation and dispensing of prescriptionmedications
+ Conduct a thorough patient profile review to assess the appropriateness of the prescribed medication including monitoring individual patient profiles for drug duplications, interactions, allergies, appropriate dose, strength, and route of administration at the time each order is received
+ Evaluate all provider’s orders and verify correctness of entries in computerized patient profiles
+ Interview patients and provide education regarding their medications
+ Perform direct patient screening and education on selected medical conditions at consultation windows in the outpatient pharmacy waiting room
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience in pharmacy practice or completion of an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited residency training program.

State of Washington Pharmacist license

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$144,336.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$206,556.00 annual
Other Compensation:
7:39 PM Night Shift Premium - $8.00/hour; Evening Shift Premium - $1.75/hour; Weekend Shift Premium - $1.50/hour
