    Scope:

    The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure high product quality. This role partners closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design engineering teams to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business and support daily operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Participate in ideation sessions that deliver quantifiable savings in labor efficiency, material usage, scrap reduction and energy consumption.

    + Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost savings trackable through P&L statements.

    + Design and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis methodologies.

    + Evaluate equipment performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with maintenance and suppliers to implement solutions.

    + Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), layouts, and time studies to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal workflow (Value Stream Mapping a plus).

    + Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (e.g., SOPs, Control Plans, PFMEA a plus).

    + Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, CAPA).

    + Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities and ensure manufacturability through DFM/DFA principles.

    + Monitor key process metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision making.

    + Participate in Management of Change (MoC) processes to ensure that all modifications to equipment, processes, materials or procedures are evaluated, approved, communicated, and implemented safely and effectively.

    + Possess a strong sense of ownership and ability to be a self-starter to take the initiative to move projects forward.

    + Be a role model in the plant ensuring to promote a safe working environment while supporting compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

    + 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles.

    + Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies (DMAIC methodology a plus).

    + Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent).

    + Experience with statistical analysis and use of tools such as Minitab or JMP.

    + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

    Preferred:

    + Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).

    + Strong background in manufacturing processes

    + Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 a plus)

    + Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (ETQ, Reliance, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

    + Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or robotics.
