About the Role:
As a CBRE LIS/LTS Manager, you will manage a team responsible for performing daily solutions to ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You’ll Do:
+ Provide formal supervision to employees.
+ Monitor the training and development of staff.
+ Conduct performance evaluators and coaching.
+ Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities.
+ Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Ensure all programs and procedures of the staff are being properly performed.
+ Support the development and administrator of the department budget.
+ Review all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and additional contract requirements and submit for approval.
+ Review and update LIS and LTS equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
+ Track, evaluate, and report performance on quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.
+ Manage contractor specifications, problems, performance, and administration.
+ Conduct financial analysis including the preparation of reports.
+ Order and track inventory of spare parts and consumables.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
+ Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
+ Impact a range of customers, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
+ Work within broad guidelines and policies.
+ Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Strong leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments' results within a function.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Laboratory Instrumentation Manager is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Laboratory Instrumentation Manager position is $130,000 position is annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
