As a **Security Professional - Retail Patrol** in **West Nyack, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control and monitor the flow of people within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies or drills by following established protocols and providing guidance as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports for all security-related activities and observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
