As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity within the location to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting potential theft or property damage.

+ Work collaboratively with store management, employees, and/or local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.

+ Provide information and assistance to shoppers and/or staff, contributing to a positive experience within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
