As a **Security Officer - Access Control Monitor** in **Champaign, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate to address security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
