_About the Department_
_Located at_ **_1725 Discovery Dr., Suite 200, Charlottesville, VA 22911_** _, UVA Specialty Pharmacy supports patients with complex and chronic conditions including cancer, HIV, cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, and transplant-related therapies._
_What You’ll Do_
_As a_ **_Clinical Pharmacist_** _, you will:_

Minimum Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree required
+ Experience: No experience required
+ Licensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Education: Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
+ Experience: None
+ Licensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
**Physical Demands –** Job requires standing and traveling for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals.
Compensation
+ The pay rate for this role starts at $64.37 per hour. New hire compensation will be determined by education and experience.
Onboarding Requirements
Background checks and pre-employment health screenings** will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a **drug screen.
Position Compensation Range: $55.67 - $89.07 Hourly
