Your presence and customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting hospital operations. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and/or disturbances within the facility.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

+ Communicate professionally with staff and visitors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and coordinating with medical personnel and/or law enforcement as required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Vaccinations required for hospital setting.

+ Ability to work in hospital morgue environments.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
