Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
The Process Engineering Manager will develop and implement innovative process improvement strategies, leveraging digital technologies and GMP best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role requires assessing and executing strategies that enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance aligned with organizational objectives. The manager will also lead change management initiatives, maintain comprehensive process documentation, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and value creation.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement innovative process improvement strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including SOPs, process maps, and work instructions.
+ Lead change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes and technologies.
+ Stay current on industry advancements and emerging trends in manufacturing operations.
+ Identify opportunities for digital transformation within manufacturing operations.
+ Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
+ Produce clear reports and insights for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
+ Communicate effectively at all levels, translating complex concepts into actionable objectives.
+ Foster a culture of openness, transparency, and collaboration across manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, GMP compliance, or process improvement.
+ Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and regulatory compliance requirements.
+ Expertise in Operational Excellence and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
+ Proficient in process documentation, mapping, and RACI frameworks.
+ Familiarity with autologous aseptic manufacturing and cleanroom operations.
+ Proficiency with manufacturing digital technologies and process analytics tools.
+ Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and change management skills.
+ Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CQE preferred.
+ Knowledge of Chain of Identity/Chain of Custody is a plus.
+ Track record of inspection readiness and remediation is a plus.
+ Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of cleanroom and GMP-compliant manufacturing facilities with cross-functional collaboration involving R&D, QA/QC, and supply chain. It is a fast-paced and dynamic setting with hands-on technical engagement. Occasional weekend support is required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Winston Salem, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
