    Join our team as a Safety Specialist where you will develop and implement comprehensive safety plans that adhere to OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe working environments by conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance, and managing safety documentation.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement site-specific safety programs aligned with OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards.

    + Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to chemical handling, cleanroom construction, and specialized equipment installation.

    + Monitor compliance by ensuring contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards.

    + Perform regular site inspections to audit construction areas for unsafe practices, equipment misuse, or environmental risks.

    + Investigate incidents by leading root-cause analyses of accidents, near-misses, or safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.

    + Coordinate and deliver safety training programs on topics such as hazardous materials, confined spaces, and emergency response.

    + Manage documentation by maintaining accurate records of safety audits, permits, incident reports, and compliance certifications.

    + Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to integrate safety into all phases of construction.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in project management, electrical systems, and commercial construction.

    + Ability to forecast and manage financials related to safety measures.

    + Expertise in safety training and OSHA compliance, including holding an OSHA 30 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field.

    + 0-2 years of experience working as a safety specialist in a construction company.

    + Experience with commercial construction and estimation is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    This position will initially be based out of the office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin for the first month, before transitioning to work at the Microsoft Data Center in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin. The role will involve working closely with construction teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $40.86/hr.
