Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for executing the encapsulation process by measuring, mixing, weighing, and documenting production runs in accordance with GMP regulations. The operator will be involved in setting up equipment, running the encapsulation process, and cleaning the production suite post-production.
Responsibilities
+ Mix chemicals to run the encapsulation process.
+ Measure, mix, weigh, and document production runs.
+ Set up and operate the fluid bed unit, including assembling the pump system.
+ Monitor temperature, mixing speed, and oversee pumps during production.
+ Document time stamps, weight checks, and other necessary data.
+ Disassemble and clean units after production completion.
+ Adhere to GMP regulations and follow SOPs.
+ Handle raw materials, including lifting 55 lbs bags and moving 175 lbs drums.
+ Work on the computer during production for data entry and monitoring.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of experience in a GMP or food/pharmaceutical environment.
+ Experience in mixing chemicals and following SOPs.
+ Proficiency in documenting production runs and maintaining batch records.
+ Mathematical skills, including knowledge of decimals for chemical calculations.
+ High attention to detail and reliability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma.
+ Ability to verify reliability and attention to detail through references.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
