Job Title: Electrical Engineer

•Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design, assembly, and testing of autonomous vehicles and auxiliary equipment. This role involves working within a portfolio of autonomous maritime products intended for defense, marine research, and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

+ Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

+ Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

+ Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of electrical system requirements into optimized methods for assembly, testing, and maintenance.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate attention to detail.

+ Support development of automated test fixtures.

+ Perform other electrical engineering duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical engineering expertise

+ Experience in electrical design

+ Proficiency in quality inspection techniques such as using calipers, micrometers, and visual inspections

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and conduct quality control

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 7 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field

+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary product development teams

+ Experience with architecting platform electrical and power systems

+ Experience in designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, and maintaining production-mature circuit card assemblies

+ Familiarity with systems that include hardware and software components developed for DoD, Academic, or Commercial use

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pocasset, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
