• Job Description

We are seeking a **Brazer** to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will perform brazing tasks using a gas torch on copper materials, ensuring precise assembly of valves and components onto compressors and evaporators. This role involves working with power tools, hand tools, and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Responsibilities

+ Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals

+ Assemble valves and components onto compressors and evaporators using power and hand tools

+ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders

+ Conduct first article inspections and report defects or issues

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area

+ Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments

+ Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

+ Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office to track production and inventory

+ Train across different areas and support other shifts as needed

• Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

+ Standing for majority of the day

+ Basic computer skills

+ Ability to see full spectrum of colors

+ Experience with power and hand tools

• Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No prior brazing experience required – students from welding/brazing programs welcome

+ Brazing experience is a plus, especially from plumbing or manufacturing

+ Blueprint reading ability from school or on-the-job experience

+ Safety shoes required; all other PPE provided

• Work Environment

+ Physical activity required: lifting up to 45 lbs, standing most of the day

+ Dress code: steel toe shoes, jeans/work pants, t-shirt or polo

+ Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–4:30 PM (occasional extended hours)

+ Paid RSI training in Phoenix on specified dates

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
