Core responsibilities

+ Installation: Assemble and install various products and systems, such as windows, doors, siding, roofing, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components.

+ Site preparation: Prepare construction sites by cleaning up debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures like scaffolding.

+ Reading and interpreting: Follow blueprints, technical diagrams, manufacturer instructions, and safety protocols.

+ Testing and troubleshooting: Inspect and test installed products to ensure proper function and perform repairs or upgrades as needed.

+ Material and tool management: Handle, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain an inventory of supplies and ensure tools are in good condition.

+ Quality control: Perform measurements, calculations, and quality control checks to ensure the installation meets project specifications and quality standards.

+ Documentation: Maintain records of installation activities and complete all necessary job paperwork and reports.

+ Safety and compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site. This can include participating in safety meetings and controlling site traffic.

+ Collaboration: Work effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other skilled tradespeople.

+ Client interaction: In some roles, this includes explaining the installation to the end-user or handling client communication

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
