    + JOB REQUIREMENTS

    + Education

    + Associate's degree in nursing required, but Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, supplemented with three (3) years of clinical experience, current Arkansas license.

    + Experience

    + Knowledge of health care and medical procedures, including terminology, interpersonal/human relations skills, attentiveness to detail, supervisory skills, accounting and budgeting skills, ability to prioritize duties and delegate responsibilities, ability to use protective equipment and respond to emergency situations, ability to exert average physical effort.

    + Physical

    + Normal clinic environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Frequent exposure to fumes, odors and water. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching and occasional stress related to patient load. This is a safety sensitive position.

    + JOB SUMMARY

    + Under general direction, provides nursing care of patients, plans and oversees clinic staff nursing activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to policies, procedures, standards, and regulations. Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, significant others, co-workers, administration, other hospital departments, physicians, community agencies, third party payers, referral sources, regulators and other health team members. Ability to constructively supervise others. Ability to enlist the cooperation of others. High tolerance for stress. Ability to exercise independent judgement. Self-directing and organized. Ability to reason objectively. Ability to assess, project and plan for patient’s needs. Ability to interpret state/federal/agency regulations. Ability to document concisely, accurately and timely. Ability to handle a variety of duties which may be interrupted or changed by immediate circumstances. Attendance is an essential function of this job.
