**Salary Range** : $79,100 - $118,700 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
The AML Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention efforts. This position is responsible for reviewing alerts, conducting investigations, supporting risk assessments, filing SARs and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role will also contribute to the development and refinement of AML risk scoring methodologies and assist in preparing regulatory filings and audit responses.
As an AML Compliance Sr. Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
+ Review and investigate AML alerts, escalations, and potential suspicious activity.
+ Support the implementation and monitoring of the AML High Risk Assessment at account opening.
+ Maintain and enhance AML risk scoring templates and methodologies.
+ Assist in the preparation and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and OFAC checks.
+ Collaborate with the AML Officer and other compliance staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
+ Prepare documentation for internal audits and regulatory examinations.
+ Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure program alignment.
+ Contribute to training and awareness initiatives across the organization.
+ Support the Firm's surveillance program.
+ Assist with regulatory inquiries and exams.
+ Assist with the Firm's Branch Office review program.
The AML Compliance Sr. Analyst position is well suited for you if you:
+ Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate a broad scope of data to define potential risks.
+ Experience with AML risk scoring models and data analysis.
+ Knowledge of financial exploitation reporting and securities compliance.
+ Familiarity with AML regulations (e.g., BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN guidelines).
+ Strong analytical and investigative skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AML monitoring systems. Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving.
+ Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
What you’ll need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or equivalent 8 years of experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in broker dealer and/or investment advisor AML, Compliance.
+ FINRA Current Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63/66 registrations required.
What will set you apart:
+ Master’s Degree in related fields of finance and business.
+ ACAMS certification or equivalent.
