Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Manager, where you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. You will manage inventory flow, coordinate order fulfillment, and maintain strong communication with freight forwarders, while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and complying with legal regulations.

+ Ensure peak warehouse efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training employees.

+ Develop warehouse operations systems, including product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, and shipping methods.

+ Utilize ERP platforms (SCM+ or similar) for inventory control and logistics management.

+ Train and manage the warehouse team to resolve operational issues and achieve performance goals.

+ Oversee daily operations, including inventory control, logistics, and quality assurance.

+ Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, and equipment layouts to meet productivity and quality standards.

+ Supervise daily warehouse activities such as shipping, floor productivity, and customer service.

+ Schedule and oversee warehouse team activities to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

+ Inspect material handling equipment and storage spaces regularly; oversee maintenance as needed.

+ Manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.

+ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager, coordinating hourly employees.

+ At least 1 year of ERP experience for warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics coordination.

+ Ability to interpret ERP reports, KPIs, and dashboards to drive operational improvements.

+ Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.

+ Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of staff.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering feedback.

+ Proficiency with SCM+ for warehouse operations.

+ Forklift license.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Glen Allen, VA.

• 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Lots of room for growth, will start on day shift but seeing a ton of growth in their department due to data center growth

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
