    Overview

     

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer to support our growing workload in hardware design.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and develop electrical schematics, and connection diagrams.

    + Collaborate with senior engineers, design peers, and drafting teams to deliver accurate designs.

    + Investigate design documents, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.

    + Manage assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion within project constraints (budget, schedule, requirements).

    + Communicate effectively across teams and proactively seek clarification when needed.

    + Apply problem-solving skills while balancing technical requirements and project limitations.

    Required Qualifications

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (additional experience may substitute for degree).

    + Experience: 3–7 years in an electrical engineering role ( Senior level: 10+ years, Master’s preferred).

    + Familiarity with electrical/connection schematics.

    + Technical Skills:

    + Experience with 3-phase 115V AC power systems.

    + Knowledge of DC power supplies/components (5V, 12V, 28V).

    + Understanding of digital signals (copper data, fiber data, video, audio).

    + Optional: Experience with Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).

    + Preferred: CAD tool experience.

    Top 3 Technical Skills

    + Altium (PWB, PCB design)

    + Circuit Card Assemblies – board design, component selection & population

    + 3-phase 115V AC power systems

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    + Project management experience.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
