    Our Hospice Nursing positions include meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our clients and their families. Our patients are facing end-of-life healthcare needs, and we are seeing an LPN who can provide the needed nursing care with dignity, compassion & a warm heart.

     

    Availability: Weekends On-Call starting Friday at 5pm ending Monday at 8am.

    We are Medicare Certified and State Licensed.

    Responsibilities

    + Meeting the healthcare needs of hospice patients by completing as needed and routine visits

    + Working closely with the Hospice team, physicians and community partners in order to deliver optimal care.

    + Triaging any emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care to each patient.

    + Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others

    + Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records

    + Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice.

    + Participating in in-service programs

    + Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills

    Requirements

    + Kansas or compact nursing license

    + Valid Driver's License

    + Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care services via electronic charting.

    + Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.

    + Excellent Communication Skills

    + Positive, Professional attitude
