    Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, Business Services Group (BSG), Division of Technology Solutions (DTS). As a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSANALYST), GS-2210-15, you will direct the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions that enable CMMI to launch and operate models. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive supervisory and personnel management duties and responsibilities. Guide the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions that enable CMMI to launch and operate models. Direct and develops long range, outcome-oriented plans to harmonize the Center’s IT solutions, ensure the sustainability of current systems, and prepare to meet the needs of future models. Cultivates and sustains strategic partnerships with program teams, while ensuring adherence to IT governance standards and regulatory compliance at the Center. Basic Requirement: Individuals qualifying based on experience must have Information Technology (IT)- related experience that demonstrates each of the four competencies listed below. Customer Service Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication- Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving- Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In order to qualify for the GS-15, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1. Direct multi-disciplinary teams that plan, develop, and implement major IT solutions for healthcare or similar programs; AND 2. Develop IT budget and contract acquisition plans for a portfolio of IT systems and services; AND 3. Direct and guide multi-disciplinary teams to maintain compliance with IT governance requirements of the organization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
