Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Specialist, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This position involves handling moderately complex payroll tasks, maintaining payroll records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries to support seamless payroll operations.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare, process, and handle payroll data and systems in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.
+ Address complex payroll-related inquiries, issues, or discrepancies.
+ Collaborate with various departments and locations to ensure seamless payroll operations.
+ Process high volume payroll for 1300 employees across multiple states, including OR, WA, and ID.
+ Handle state taxes, earnings, and deductions, including garnishments.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in full cycle payroll.
+ Fundamental Payroll Certificate (FPC) or willingness to obtain Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) within 12-18 months.
+ Proficiency in UKG Pro (formerly Ultipro) and MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, conditional formatting).
+ Experience with employment taxes, earnings, and deductions.
+ High level of attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the insurance or healthcare industries is a plus.
+ Skills in process improvement and cross-functional processes.
+ Personable and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
