    DC Automation & Maintenance Technician I

     

    2nd Shift Hours, M-F from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ESSENTIAL MHE FUNCTIONS

    + Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

    + Operate, maintain Autostore robotics, carousel pick ports, conveyor pick ports robots and chargers.

    + Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building.

    + Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so they align with production specifications or instructions.

    + Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.

    + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, pneumatics, etc.

    + Troubleshoot High and Low voltage electrical using Multimeter.

    + Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.

    + Develop training plans for service technicians.

    + Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.

    + Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

    ESSENTIAL FACILITY FUNCTIONS

    + Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to the office/building.

    + Painting, Plumbing, some janitorial work

    + Low and High voltage electrical

    + Rack Installation/repair.

    + Dock/Door maintenance

    + Welding

    + Basic fabrication

    + Responsible for company tools and maintenance equipment used in performance of job duties, including inventory maintenance, safe operation, proper storage, and security of tool area.

    + Must be willing to work occasional nights/weekends/on call.

    + Other duties as assigned by Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + CMMS experience required.

    + Ability to work autonomously.

    + Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.

    + Automation, Conveyance, PLCs, or Robotics repair technician experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

    + Repair technician experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

    + Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
